This is the time of year when life gets extra hectic, sugar-filled, and pants tightening. Traveling for the holidays can be hard, and squeezing in workouts while trying to ice gingerbread men for a party or finish the last bit of Christmas shopping is tough. I get it. I’m there, too!
I created this NO EXCUSES at-home bodyweight workout to help you feel good, confident, de-stressed, and fight that nasty holiday weight gain! You can get in shape whether at your own house or in your in-laws cramped guest room. You just need yourself, a few feet of room, and some determination to get it done- no matter what! (Sports bras and sneakers are nice, too…)
One time through this workout will take you 9 minutes, but feel free to change the work and rest times to meet your needs! What’s not pictured: a warm up or cool down. Get your body warmed up and blood pumping with 3-5 minutes of light activity beforehand, and since this is a full body workout, stretch from head to toe after! This workout is quick, effective, strength building, and metabolism boosting. What are you waiting for?

Sam, I’m in the same boat as you. Glad to hear someone else is a liltte discouraged too. I worked out this week 5 out of 7 days and stuck to my diet and I gained 1/2 lb. What the heck??? I’m so annoyed!!! This week I’m really going to have to up the intensity of my workouts and start cutting out more crap from my diet, I think I also need to up my water intake. I hope all of this stuff helps if not I don’t know what I will do. I am kind of hoping this is the start of my plateau and when I switch my workouts up I will start to lose again, we will see. Good luck this week!
